Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I’ve been working with Savi for over a month now and she’s introduced me to some great references. She’s considerate, supportive, and insightful. She knows how to share a laugh with you and also how to be understanding and sympathetic. She’s a great listener and based on what she picks up from the conversation she shares helpful tools (worksheets, videos, book authors etc. ) to deal with the issues. Thanks a lot Savi! It’s been helpful to exchange with you.

I started my journey with Savi from the beginning of this year. Savi was very supportive and helpful throughout my journey with BetterHelp. My experience felt personalised to my journey, I felt heard and my eyes were also opened to different perspectives. My experience was very free flowing towards the end of journey and it felt like I was speaking to a non judgemental friend with professional boundaries also consistent throughout. I would definitely recommend Savi to anyone who would like to learn more about themselves and to be provided with a safe space to shake their thoughts, feelings and experiences.

I’ve only been with Savi for a couple weeks now, but I can already tell she is very different to my previous therapist. I feel Savi actively acknowledges my concerns/pain/struggles, and has an array of knowledge and expertise to be KK me achieve my goals. She has a deep understanding of the LGBT+ community, and it really helps that she is a woman of colour - since I am a person of colour too. Thus far, I can definitely recommend Savi.

Reviewed November 2022

Savi is so knowledgeable and knows the exact tools that she can offer or share that will help. She listens and understand deeply and is able to identify what the issue is and has ways of uncovering the root of the problem followed by a great solution and advice. I have only had 2 sessions so far and it has already had such a huge impact on my healing journey. I am so impressed and we need more Savis out there to help people in need of mental health guidance and support during tough dark times.
