Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Monina has helped me immensely to identify some significant emotional wounds and harmful mental habits that were causing me significant issues progressing my relationships and my life. She has helped me with tools to tackle these issues and I feel like I’ve evolved into a far more healthy and happy person since I started working with her. She is very empathetic, and knowledgeable and easy to speak with, which is essential for someone like me who is very guarded and not usually able to share problems or internal pains with other people.

Reviewed March 2023

Monina is very personable and I feel very comfortable sharing my concerns with her. I feel that I am going to benefit so much from therapy with her and look forward to seeing my progress

Nina has been brilliant at helping and supporting me. She listens carefully and comes across as a friend I'm talking to so I don't have difficulty opening up. Initially I needed more regular support which wasn't a problem and now down to a weekly session which I'm managing well with. I'm so grateful to Nina and Better Help being there (and available) when I needed it most. Won't hesitate to recommend.
