Dr. Porcha is very personable, professional, and allows me to be myself without judgement. She is great at getting me to laugh a little, but always pulls it back it the middle in a thoughtful and considerate manner. I highly reccommend Dr. Porcha; this is coming from someone who has had trouble finding the right therapist for me.
So far I love her !
Dr Porter is supportive, kind, nurturing, understanding and her advice and constructive instruction has been instrumental in helping me begin to take back my power and control of my life and relationships and helping me to make better choices and move in a more healthy/positive direction.

She is a fantastic listener, extremely patient. And makes you feel truly seen and heard without any judgement. She offers what feels like a incredibly save space to let out anything and everything that you’re feeling or struggling with, and she offers reasonable goals and advice on how to properly manage them.
Dr Porter is amazing, insightful, empowering, intuitive, supportive, nurturing and provides thought provoking, soul searching “homework” to help you make the best decision for yourself no matter how hard it may be.
Dr Porter is so good at what she does. I have heard accounts of therapists not listening, not understand, having bad advice: none of that is true with her. She really deeply understands the situations we discuss, is gentle with suggestions, and doesn’t seem bossy or judgmental ever. It creates a really great space to open up, get suggestions, and get help. Even though she does come in very kind and calm to most scenarios, I think it’s her ability to give a more rigid side as well that can create comfort during some more anxiety driven moments, when that feeling of something more grounding is needed; she is great at playing on both sides of the court. Overall, she is a super balanced therapist, who obviously has experience in her field that has been given me some of the most progress i’ve seen emotionally in my life, and I feel so much better for it.

Though I've just started therapy with her, I feel like I am being heard and seen for the first time in my journey with therapy. I feel like I am healing the trauma from childhood and understanding the chain of events in my life that have led me to the place I am at. I am thankful.
Dr. Porter from the start provided a nice friendly atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. I felt like she genuinely cared and had my best interests at heart. She is very knowledgeable and very attentive. In just a few sessions I felt comfortable talking about my issues. I couldn't recommend her enough.

I think Doctor Porter has really strong reactive listening abilities, and quickly navigates understanding the complexities of what someone's trying to share and conveys the message she believes they need to hear.
She continues to guide while allowing me to talk out what i'm going through. She reminds me subtly that she listens very well by bringing up points from one session to the next and she has been very patient with me as i'm working through this tough spot in my life. I'm very happy with the pairing and I look forward to digging in further as soon as I finish assignments and bring them on-time to allow Dr. Porter to work through them to get to next steps!
