Andrew has been very thorough in finding out what my greatest concerns are and in helping me to focus on achieving goals that are in line with those concerns. Family is a major area of worry for me, as my children are in college and reaching college age. Andrew has helped me to be receptive to their needs as well as my own needs of being able to relate to them. I don't think I would be as cognizant of my place in the kids journey if Andrew wasn't keeping me pointed in that direction.

Andrew takes the time to not only listen, but ask detailed questions in order to fully understand my perspective. He doesn't make assumptions about my feelings or no motivation. Andrew also holds me accountable to what I say, reminding me of my goals and keeping me from being lax in trying to achieve them. It is incredibly important to be kept accountable when trying to change or improve. I am very thankful to have that from Andrew.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very thoughtful and guides the session towards my goals. Helps me to understand when my perspective isn't lining up with achieving those goals
Andrew is an excellent therapist. He strikes a good balance between really listening and hearing what I'm saying on the one hand, and engaging with me to offer intelligently chosen insights from psychology, physiology, and philosophy on the other. I believe one of the key values talk therapy provides is getting to unpack what's in your head for an audience that doesn't have a personal stake in how your life plays out. That doesn't mean I want someone who doesn't care, but it definitely means I want someone who doesn't judge my choices or otherwise impose their own valuation on my life. (I get plenty of that from within, thanks!) Andrew's ability to convey warm interest in my well-being without ever criticizing or judging the thoughts and actions I describe is aspirational. If you're reading this review because you're considering working with him, I absolutely recommend you take a couple of sessions to get to know him.
