Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She’s very professional and has goals for us to achieve. She’s a great therapist!!
She is there any time I need her especially now when I am not able to have a one To one.
I absolutely love having a therapist that makes it feel like I’m chatting with a friend!! So very helpful and understanding!!
Julie is an empathetic listener. She gives practical advice. She's not remotely judgmental, but instead makes me feel understood and supported even as she challenges my perspective. She's a safe place. Highly recommend!
She’s the Best helps whole family
My therapist, Julie, is like a friend to me on betterhelp. She lives close by and she has even offered to help me with some matters that were important to me. My doctor has also said that I have less than 6 months to live. She has listened to me about the overwhelming task of doctors I’ve had to deal with listening about my struggles that I have truly found peace with. She has been through it with me, if I needed someone to talk to, she was there. I think God put us n our paths of life. Thank you Julie
Great so far!
This is my first time using BetterHelp and I was quite nervous of it. Julie welcomed me with open arms, listen and ask questions to better understand me. I felt more comfortable and relieved after my first session with her. I can’t wait to see how the next few sessions play out.
Excellent listener, patient, kind and the best counselor I’ve ever had. She makes me feel heard and provides wise, relevant and doable advise.
