Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

She's just the best!

Reviewed July 2024

Shiho has shown astuteness and compassion as she has helped me uncover underlying issues that I felt but did not know how to articulate. In just a few sessions, I already feel that her insights will improve how I approach my life going forward.

Reviewed January 2024

Shiho is absolutely amazing. She's funny and sweet while also being very knowledgeable. But she's also not afraid to learn something new from her clients. Shiho is fantastic start to finish!

Reviewed November 2023

It never occurred to me before Better Help that there was a cultural relevance in therapy. Shiho is the first therapist I have seen in my life who I feel actually truly sees me and understands where I am coming from. My family carries a lot of foreign ideals about family and in the past my american therapists have lacked an understanding of those additional pressures.

Reviewed January 2024

She’s a great therapist. She talks me through my issues without judgement and helps me see things from a different perspective. She also pushes me out of my comfort zone to do things I normally wouldn’t

Reviewed September 2023

Shiho has taught me self-compassion and helped boost my self-esteem in a way that’s changed my life. I’m confident in who I am for the first time in awhile. She is friendly, professional, and professorial in her homework assignments and knowledge of psychology and psychotherapy topics.

Reviewed January 2023

Shiho is my first therapist and I’m very satisfied with her recommendations and her kind manner. She is good at what she does and I appreciate her counseling.
