Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Karen is absolutely wonderful! She is helping me learn to communicate and cope and it’s saving my relationship!
Karen is a wonderful therapist. She knew what I needed after only a few minutes and her suggestions turned my mental state around quickly. Karen is easy to talk to.
So far as my therapist she has been amazing. I really enjoy talking to her and she seems to get where I'm coming from. She's not judgemental and I look forward to our sessions together.
I feel incredibly lucky to have been paired with Karen as my therapist! I’ll be honest, I was skeptical about how effective virtual therapy could be, but decided to try it out during one of the most pivotal and impactful seasons I’ve experienced in life yet. From the very first session, Karen has not only listened in ways that let me know I am actually heard, provided exceptional insight and knowledge, but has always treated me with respect, given me a safe space to come to with any and all topics, and has been upfront, honest and genuine. Karen is always on time, responds quickly to any messages sent between sessions, and has made room for additional sessions when I was struggling. In three months, I have learned more than I had in a year with other therapists, and am incredibly thankful for her support and progress she has helped me achieve. I never feel judged, or unsure about what I can bring to each session. Therapy and healing isn’t always easy, it’s messy, and emotional and uncomfortable- and having Karen in my corner while I venture through has been a game changer.
Open and easy to talk with. Felt like anything I needed to say was listened to with respect, without judgment. Thank you, Karen

Karen is great and straight to the point. Great listener and great advice
Karen is a great therapist who tremendously decreased my anxiety during my first session. She is smart and kind and I felt I can rely on her expertise to deal with my issues. Trust is an important feature that you cannot find in everyone which I've found in Karen.
I've been seeing Karen for about a month. What I like best about my sessions with Karen is that I come away every time with at least one (sometimes more) nugget that really resonates with me and helps me with my problems.
