Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Megan listens and is very kind. I'm sure she keeps notes in all her clients, but even so, I'm amazed at the details she remembers about me. She's compassionate and helpful; she's been better for me in two weeks than other therapists have in months.

This is my first real try at therapy and Megan has made the experience so easy and comfortable. Her knowledge and demeanor makes it easy to talk through the stuff thats holding me back in life. Her advice and the tools she's given me have gotten the ball rolling to turn my life into something I can look forward to. I feel better after every session.

Megan was exactly the therapist I needed. Very supportive, very responsive. I have never felt like there has been an agenda, never felt like I had to follow a program with her. Each session focuses on what I need at that time. She truly cares and reaching out to her seems easy. She even randomly checks on me when I have been having a rough go. Highly recommend her.

Reviewed December 2022

Megan was tremendously helpful in reducing my anxiety and helping me make peace with some complicated family drama. My overall quality of life was taking a toll and some previous work with other therapists didn't help. Megan turned out to be everything I'd hoped for in a therapist. She's extremely kind, compassionate, professional, and effective. Her observations and insights were spot on and unbelievably helpful. I assumed I'd stop therapy after working through this issue but the doors she's opened in my mind have inspired me to dig in to other areas of my life that I'd like to improve. I highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a therapist with a gentle yet very productive approach.
