Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Rachel is a wonderful therapist! She’s warm, kind, and always patient with me. Just talking to her makes me feel a lot better. She always has helpful feedback and helps me reframe my thinking. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who truly cares.
Rachel has been able to help me with issues I’ve been carrying around for DECADES. I’ve had therapy in the past, and to be honest I never stuck with it long term because I wasn’t seeing any results and it was actually an unpleasant experience. However, with Rachel, I’ve been seeing her for about 9 months now and I’m making more progress in my life than I could have ever imagined. I’m very grateful for her spectacular help!!
Rachel is very attentive and listens to my concerns. She checks on me often
Great experience. My first time utilizing therapy and this is helpful. Rachel listens well and offers sound suggestions.
Rachel is amazing. I appreciate her wisdom and experience so much. I feel like I’m talking with a very very smart friend! She has arrived just in time in my life. I’m so thankful I picked her for my therapist!
Rachel has been a guiding light in my life the past few months. Through her help, expertise and encouragement I’ve gained a better sense of self and am making changes in my life. She is so warm and welcoming, and I’m so grateful for her!
Rachel has been able to meet me where I am. I didn’t feel the need to recap every detail of my past or even present before talking about what I need right now. Even after just a few sessions I feel that she has been very, very helpful and I intend to continue talking with her!
I was always nervous to go to therapy, worried about unpacking my feelings. But therapy has been so much more than that for me- it’s given me a fresh start and a chance to re-program my mind to live my best life and to appreciate who I am for the first time in my life. Rachel has helped me get back on my feet, and I can’t recommend her enough. She listens so well, is a shoulder to lean on, and gives me tools and resources to get better. I feel so seen when I talk to her, and I love how she checks in on me even after our sessions. Rachel has seriously changed my life, and I’ve only met with her twice. My husband has even noticed a significant difference in me, in my peace, and in my joy. Thank you BetterHelp for helping me turn my life around.
