I’ve greatly enjoyed working with Dr. Brown, she’s very attentive and understanding. She has a way of telling me the truth, even if it isn’t what I want to hear, in a way that’s both compassionate and objective. I look forward to my sessions with her. She’s very communicative and flexible when it comes to scheduling and always gets back to me quickly.

Hi! I am a professional counselor licensed in Arizona with 8 years of experience working as a Christian counselor, life coach, and clinician . I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, traumatic experiences including: emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, eating disorders, and addiction.

My counseling style is warm, caring, non-judgmental, and interactive. I believe pain (inward and outward) is a universal language, yet difficult for many to identify. An external wound has needs in order to heal and inward wounds (discovered and covered) also have needs in order to heal. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, person-centered, motivational, and Christian counseling with a focus on healing as well as increasing function for the relationships and responsibilities that are important to you. We will collaborate on a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and track progress along the way.

It takes strength and courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and help you find it and thrive.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
