Recent reviews
Matthew has been a solid resource and a great outsider perspective on a variety of topics and concerns. He has provided meaningful input and advice on challenging situations, plus resources to dig deeper into coping strategies. Matthew’s approach has been comfortable and patient, but he is not afraid to bring up thought-provoking questions when necessary. His suggestions have helped me improve toward meeting my goals, and he has made some eye-opening observations from unexpected angles that called my attention to things I was doing which were contributing to some problems. I enjoy my sessions with Matthew.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Matt is an excellent listener and is able to distill multiple conversation threads into a single thought pattern that's easy to understand. He's very patient, attentive and is very good at creating a safe and unassuming space in which you can express yourself. He is open to being challenged and receptive to different points of view.
