ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the great state of Texas. I am so excited you have decided to embark on a journey to be the best you, you can be!

My licensures allow me to treat all mental health and behavioral issues.

However, I do love working with Women's Issues from teen pregnancy to women over 50, Divorce, Pre-marital, Marital, Co-dependency, Individuals from ages 13 and up suffering with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, Alcohol/Substance use, Co-occurring disorders, Dual Diagnosis.

My therapeutic philosophy is "person-centered" while choosing from several modalities to match the client's needs. Various modalities I am confident in are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Smart Recovery (alcohol and substance use treatment), and Love and Logic (parenting).

My goal is to meet you where you are and empower you with the tools to cope with the challenges you are facing in your life!

We will focus on your needs in a gentle, empathetic, and non-judgmental manner. It is understandable that for some, seeking counseling is a major decision. At times we may all need additional support or help with our daily struggles, life events, crises, or unknown emotional difficulties. If you are ready to take the next step, I am here to walk with you. Let's get started.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
