Alexa is a very good listener and knows how to help me better communicate when I feel I am poorly doing so. She provides a better view for me to understand myself better and the whole picture of everything that is bothering me.

I can tell Alexa cares a lot about my needs and helping me, after just three sessions with her I feel much more comfortable and able to articulate my feelings than I thought possible, especially this early on. I think part of that is my motivation too but a big part is her ability to navigate things, my style of communication, prompt and listen well and make me feel heard and understood.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
