Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

My experience with Margaret has been absolutely fantastic. I was not someone who was initially accepting of the feeling of requiring therapy and I did not have a good experience the last time I attempted to attend therapy, but Margaret has made it accessible and I actually look forward to speaking with her when we meet now to discuss any obstacles I've encountered or progression that I've made.

Margaret is very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. I really enjoy speaking with her and listening to her feedback as what she recommends for me is and has been very helpful.

Margaret is amazing. She alway listen to everything I tell her and never judges. Whenever I feel alone or upset she helps me understand why I'm feeling that way. The thing I like the most about her is that she challenges me. The way she connect with people make her a perfect match for people like me, people who are very emotional and sensitive.

I have been through a few therapists on this platform and Margaret has been the most helpful for what I was looking for. She has a calm presence and an ability to follow with you through the process of discovery in a way that is reflective, sound, and thoughtful. I am very thankful!

I have done counseling and therapy only one time before I joined BetterHelp. I was still a little new to the whole idea, but was so excited to have a trustworthy and qualified person to speak to. Margaret is kind, wise, and it so easy to talk with her. It’s kind of like subconsciously I just knew what to talk about when we were on together, and I felt completely secure and in good hands with her expertise. I’m thankful for Margaret and all of her time and energy she has gifted to me this last month! I’m already looking ahead to our next session when I’m Back from vacation. 10/10 recommend!!! ❤️
