Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jeanie has been amazing to work with. I was new to therapy but was going through some difficult work transitions that was having a broader impact on my day to day life. Jeanie’s compassionate and candid approach is what I did not know I needed. I appreciate her professionalism and wisdom with a gentle, yet straightforward manner. She also challenges me and helps reframe my perspective. I feel safe and confident in her care. Thank you, Jeanie.

My therapist said the things that I needed to hear in a gentle and nonjudgmental manner. Her level of expertise regarding my situation was exceptional. The tools she gave me were helpful to improve my mental health in measurable ways.

Reviewed February 2024

I am clueless about therapy and how it should work. Jeanie took the lead like the pro she is and helped me organize where I should go next in actionable steps. Just knowing I have someone to talked to helped more than I even thought possible. She made me feel extremely comfortable with messaging her through the app. She took it upon herself to message me periodically with positive encouraging words. I greatly appreciated that for it made me feel more comfortable to message her if I ever needed or wanted to without feeling like I’m stepping out of line. She even took it upon herself to gather information for me out of our session time. I’m so thankful for Jeanie and her patience and encouragement with me. Thanks Jeanie!!!
