I studied psychology and social work at the University of Sydney, graduating 2003. I am an Accredited Clinical Social Worker, which means I must keep up to date with the latest evidence based treatment information to maintain registration; so you benefit from care you can trust.

My social work career started January 2004 as a new graduate working for The Sutherland Hospital in Sydney, where I supported patients and their families through their hospital stay and discharge.

My profession has allowed me to live and work in London UK for five years based first in hospital roles again, but later branching out into care management positions. Upon returning to Australia, I worked for the Department of Human Services, later Services Australia where I was referred Australia's most vulnerable and supported them through difficult and complex issues such as domestic violence, family relationship breakdown and suicidality.

I believe in a holistic approach to therapy: understanding you within the context of your whole world. The physical, psychological, social, cultural and material aspects of your life all contribute to your mental wellness. My therapeutic style resounds with warmth and empathy.

I have a genuine passion for helping people through life's challenges and look forward getting to know each of my clients.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
