As a professional psychotherapist, sometimes part of our self-care is attending therapy. I could tell from the outset that James is a consummate professional with ample experience. Simply put, he's just awesome — literally a "therapist's therapist." You can't do better than him.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Mr. James Salas has been amazing so far. I have had him as my therapist for about a month now and he has already helped me notice quite a few of my behavioral and thought patterns. As a biological female, I have really appreciated how he has always made me feel safe and comfortable during video sessions. I am excited for what more I can discover on this journey with him :)

James has been so helpful in my therapy sessions. He is very good at listening and asks all the right questions. I feel that all of our conversations are very engaging and not one sided. So happy to have found him and appreciate all his efforts to reach my goals.

Reviewed March 2024

I have been seeing James Salas for 1 month now and can confirm that James has experience in CBT, DBT, trauma and more. I have had many therapists and am picky. James has good insight the ability to ask the important questions, holding accountable, and can handle morbid humor. I don’t typically like video therapy I am more of an in person kind of individual though this experience has been great.
