Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Shannon listens and lets me know ways to help myself grow in my mental health. She is compassionate when giving advice and direction as to how to deal with anxiety and certain situations. Shannon challenges me when needed but never makes me feel like my options are irrelevant. Very pleased with our progress and look forward to working with her on several areas to help me improve my happiness with my life.

Mrs. Treadwell is everything I’ve always wanted in a therapist. She is amazing at her job unlike many of my past therapist. I would highly recommend her!
She has helped me get through a rough part of my life.
Shannon was very attentive and gave me a tool to discuss with my wife during our marriage counselling
Shannon makes therapy feel like I am catching up with an old friend. She is welcoming and professional, she listens carefully to all of your concerns and addresses them individually. This is my first experience with a therapist. I was very nervous to start but now I am thankful for our weekly meetings.
