More about Cinthya

  • 8 years' experience

  • LCSW

Greetings, I'm Cinthya, a clinical social worker licensed based in South Florida serving clients with a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, gender and sexuality concerns, non-traditional relationships, addictions, anger management, poor self-image, interpersonal issues, boundary setting, and communication issues.

I believe that everyone is capable of improving their situation by working towards their goals and finding that peace in their life they seek.

I aim to aide you in understanding the whys behind certain behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that cause you distress. We’ll work on using techniques that can alleviate the symptoms arising from negative patterns of thinking, and help you gain confidence in your ability to make decisions, maintain healthy boundaries, communicate more efficiently, and make/keep healthy relationships.

All the while, making sure you feel comfortable and supported.

It takes a lot of courage to admit we even need help sometimes, let alone take the steps to find it. Change begins with awareness. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
