Jess is a very kind and supportive therapist who, in a very short while, understands exactly what my worries and problems are. After the first session I knew that she would be able to help me get through processing my childhood trauma and ongoing stressors.

Hi, I’m Jess! Firstly, I want to acknowledge that taking the first step to find a counsellor can often be one of the most daunting, so thank you for taking the time to visit my profile.

You may be feeling anxious, stressed, and overwhelmed. Maybe you are unable to make sense of a situation you currently find yourself in or are struggling to form and maintain relationships. Whatever may be going on for you, you deserve a space to explore this.

As a person-centred counsellor, I will provide you with a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space where it is yours to explore your feelings, relationships, and experiences. I am here to walk beside you and support you on your journey of self-development and exploration to gaining a greater understanding and acceptance for yourself.

I believe deeply in the power of person-centred therapy and allowing my clients to feel empowered in who they are. As Carl Rogers once said “The gentle and sensitive companionship of an empathic stance… provides illumination and healing”.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jessica has been wonderful, she’s been working with me for the past 3 months and honestly I don’t know what I would do without her. She has played an integral role in my progress thus far. I have been with other therapists, but with Jessica it is very different; the safe space she offers is truly extraordinary. I have talked about things I couldn’t talk about with other therapists, she is a great listener and extremely supportive, empathetic, and overall great therapist and human being. With her, you are talking human to human, not just therapist to patient and I find that extremely special. I could not recommend her enough.

I’ve been attending therapy sessions with Jessica for several months now, and my experience has been nothing short of transformative. Jessica has an incredible ability to listen intently and remember the details of our conversations, providing feedback that is both insightful and non-judgmental. Her approach helps me reflect deeply on my feelings and thoughts in a way that feels natural and unforced. One of the most valuable aspects of my sessions with Jessica is the safe space she creates. I’m learning that understanding my feelings internally and expressing them out loud are two very different things, and she helps bridge that gap beautifully. Even when I speak in a somewhat disjointed or metaphorical manner, she follows my train of thought flawlessly, which is truly impressive. Overall, Jessica is the epitome of professionalism while also fostering a genuine connection. I always feel safe and understood in her presence. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate and highly skilled therapist.
