Hello, my name is Noeleen. I am a therapist, and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have 26 years of professional work experience supporting people from many walks of life, including homeless people, ex offenders, older people, families, and people with mental health issues. I have both experience of front line hands on support with vulnerable people and managing services and staff teams. for charities and public services.

I have a special interest in helping people who are autistic or have ADHD to access therapy. I have a good understanding and experience of supporting neurodiverse clients.

I have many years of experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss & parenting issues. I am especially passionate about supporting women through the peri menopause transition as this can be a very challenging time for many women (and men).

I want to reassure you, that during our sessions, the most important person there is you and I will aim to help you feel safe, and supported throughout . My approach is to let you decide how you wish to be supported each step of the way. Some clients need to talk, and others like to be asked questions to encourage exploration.

I can offer some tools and strategies if you would like them, but the choice is yours.

This is your time, for you and I am here when you are ready.

Here are two testimonials from clients from my private practice work. Permission given and names changed to protect their identity.

"I believe that Noeleen played a massive part in bringing me back to life from such a dark place. She's a great listener and extremely caring. Since seeing Noeleen, I have come a long way to achieving my goals and seeking help to improve my life. It's been a pleasure to have met such a great person that I could trust to share my life's problems and I'm very grateful.

"I recently attended counselling sessions that I found to be immensely helpful. Noeleen demonstrated a remarkable amount of empathy and support which made a significant difference in my experience. For the very first time I felt truly listened to without any judgement. This new perspective also enabled me to understand the challenges my daughter is facing, which has in practice alleviated a great deal of stress at home and improved our relationship. I am incredibly grateful for the insights gained and would wholeheartedly recommend this support to others"

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
