Hello, I’m Emily, an Integrative Psychotherapist trained in Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches. I believe the therapeutic relationship is key to healing, and I am committed to nurturing that connection with you. I believe our relationships—both with ourselves and others—deeply influence our mental and physical wellbeing.
I work with clients who are navigating a range of challenges, including a lack of self-esteem and confidence and feeling stuck in an authentic life that doesn't feel aligned with what they truly want. Most of the time we will also explore what it is that they truly want and need too. Many come to therapy to address anxiety and stress, or to work through relationship issues that are impacting their well-being. I also support individuals in exploring childhood trauma, including emotional and physical neglect, to better understand how these experiences may be affecting their present.
I work collaboratively with clients creating a safe and trusting space, where we can explore what it means to be human. I see you as a whole person, with unique needs, embracing both your strengths and challenges with compassion and curiosity. Together, we’ll create an environment of acceptance, helping you bring your authentic self to the forefront.
I’m dedicated to understanding the full range of your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. We’ll explore your present thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and reflect on past relationships and how they may be influencing them. My goal is to help you nurture a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with yourself and encourage greater self-awareness. This will hopefully lead to a life that feels more balanced and grounded in what you truly want.
Guided by care, honesty, and openness, I believe real change comes from those difficult, confronting moments. My direct approach is always offered with compassion and understanding. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I’m committed to walking with you through the darker parts of your story, helping you find strength in life’s contradictions. We’ll also embrace moments of joy, knowing they’re an important part of healing and growth too. I look forward to sharing these moments with you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
